Miniature Circuit breakers are used in the field of building electronics to protect electrical lines. They protect cables and lines from the consequences of sudden short circuits and overload currents (such as drastically increased line temperatures - electrical fires) by fully automatically interrupting the electrical connection to the power supply. In combination with residual current circuit breakers (RCCDs), circuit breakers provide comprehensive protection for electrical installations and are therefore among the most commonly installed protective measures.
