The ZD-985 desoldering station stands out due to its compact dimensions and high performance. The set temperature at the heating element can be adjusted in 1° steps from 160°C to 480°C (or 320°F - 896°F). On the approx. 30x60mm large display, the set target temperature and the current actual temperature as well as the operating status of the heater are shown simultaneously (here it is possible to switch between °C and °F). If the heater is not used for a period of approx. 10 minutes, the set temperature is automatically reduced to 200°C. Reheating is very fast, e.g. from 200°C to 380°C in only approx. 45 seconds.
